Process Steps

Step 1

Collect Application Form from Commissioner of Mines

Step 2

Submit Completed Application together with all required documents 14 days prior to intended date of export

Step 3

Assessment of the application by Commissioner of Mines

Step 4

If approved/ not approved notify the applicant

Step 5

If approved- valuation of Diamonds (Normally 2 days before export) by Commissioner of Mines and applicant in the presence of LRA

Step 6

Issue Export permit and rough Diamond Kimberly Process Certificate

Step 7
